We now how a reputation system in place.

This is a two part system, I will explain both here:

First part of the reputation system is Post Voting

Post Voting is performed by locating the +/- on the right side of every post. Clicking the + symbol will give someone a positive Rep-point for their post. Clicking the - symbol will remove a Rep-point.
Every member can participate in this. It's similar to imgur "up's" & "down's".
!Attention! abuse of this system will have it removed and abusers will receive an infraction.

The second part is the "Thanks " system.

The "Thanks" system can only be used by the members who posted the topic. That means only the topic starter can thank the members posts. This is to show others how helpful a member can be.
The following criteria must be met before you can thank a post=

=>You must be the topic starter
=> there must be comments posted in the thread other than yours.

Once these are met, you will see this button at the top of a members post, clicking it will "Thank" them for their helpful post.

The scoring system involved is as follows:

Post Voting
a positive vote= +1 Rep-point
a negative vote= -1 Rep-point

Thanks system
being thanked= +3 Rep-points
(this is because you should only thank truly helpful quality posts)
