While reading a fanfiction of Martin and Hero of Kvatch married, I had the idea to "merge" the storylines of Oblivion and Skyrim. It'll involve the timeline of Oblivion, possible "filler" of the 200 years, and Skyrim's timeline. If interested, it'll be posted on my FanFiction account. It'll probably be summer-ish by the time I post it, as I need to replay Oblivion, type what I encounter, and do the same for Skyrim, as well as write 2 other Halo fanfictions.

I'd like if someone could give me ideas. -_-

Well, there's already a book that merges them called Lord of Souls.. Juust saying.

But if you are determined to write it from a different perspective, go ahead.

I'm writing it from my character's perspective. Not other lore.

Alright, but I'm just trying to push you a little bit. How are you going to have other things to go off of, except for the book and various tidbits of lore that you can find? And how will you justify your character being at those places, for such important events and not have them be ridiculous?

Or is it just going to be like his journey through a time of war and strife? Because there is a difference between linking two time periods like you said, and writing for a character and a journey.

I don't intend to be mean, or perhaps bludgeoning, or stupid, or thickheaded. I'm just curious, and you wanted ideas.

Basically, his "autobiography/Point of view" for Oblivion, some events after that, his death, the "afterlife", and reincarnation to save Tamriel yet again 200 years after, so since he doesn't know what's happened, he has to piece it together.

Oh well that sounds pretty swank. ^^

Would suck to have that happen to you though. Reminds me of a hardcore version of the Hangover.
