Long time ago the was a man called Hugor yhtlet, he was a bandit and he knew what he was and enjoyed it, he fought many men but he never lost. Soon all of Nermtal was afraid of him and there was no man that could have bested him or no woman that could resist him. Many started to call him master, how ever fate of man is always unknown and during a pillaging Hugor met a man who have rags as clothes and a dirty beard, his name was Orm Amereth. Hugor knew that this man was great warrior so he dueled with him. it was a long and exticing battle, but as many belive that Hugor was sure to win, instead Orm striked him with a vicious blow that knock Hugor of his feet and wounded him mortaly. Instead of killing him Orm give Hugor his flask of water and said ''If you are deathless, you will survive''. Hugor saw the pity and disgust in Orms eyes, and as he left Hugor started to treath his wounds and found out that Orms sword was magical and the wound would not stop bleeding, he couldn't ask help from his comrads as they were fleed when they saw Hugor fell.

Even if Hugor was wounded he would not give up he forced him self to move and before he released he was lost in a forest where everything he looked, looked the same, but he did not stop he walked and walked and when he fell on his feet in excust and lost of blood he found himself in valley where colours where brighter. His wound started to heal and before there stood men whose skin was made of wood there hair has leaves.

For reason Hugor trusted these creatures and started to tell them his story, Barkskins did not judge him istead they started to teach him. Hugor learned about souls and spirits,gods and demons. Hugor was a stobborn learner but wise and for that Barkskins gave him name ''Oak'' because he had personality of one.
It took years, but Hugor found peace he regected his of what he had done to others and ask forgiveness from the gods, Barkskins made him very religous. When Barkskins said that they could teach Hugor to be truly deathless, he refused and left the forests of Barkskins.

He wanted to find Orm, it took ten years but soon he found his way to Sköllheim in norther land of Deärn where Orm ruled as a count. Instead of attacking Orm, Hugor kneeled before him and swore to serve him. Orm was suprised but appected Hugor's offer soon these two men become friends and Hugor served Orm as his adviser. Now many tell of stories of ther adventures and when Orm died Hugor were there to bury him, Orm gave Hugor his sword: Élancus the blade of the roses, but Hugor felt that he was not worthty for this sword so he gave it to Orm's son: Omn, but that is whole another story.

few things about Hugor:

He lived over 500years thanks to barkskin's magic.

He helped Orm's son, omn to discover his true identy.

Hugor is edskalian word and means drake.

At his old age he aboddoned his name and started to call himself as oak and returned to forests of Barkskins.

This is really neat. I like how abstract parts of the story is, it kinda reminds me of a Brother's Grimm fairytale. Keep writing!
