Eh, it looks like a solid game really. Over the top action based on an over the top story. Multiplayer will probably be just as streamlined as in past incarnations if not moreso. It should be a rather pleasant experience. I'm going to wait to buy it though, I won't be touching another game until I get tired of Skyrim. (In the 2014 range I'd bet)

The stories are usually good but everything else is always just a little different than the previous one.

True, I mean hell they practically ended the first and second ones in the same manner.

Ive always wondered how this Skyrim vs. mw3 thing got started.

^ I know, two totally different games. It isn't fair to compare them. Though if it were a literal competition I'm still not sure who would win. So, I suppose this brings us to the inevitable question.

A Marine VS Dovahkin fight to the death, who would win?

My money is on the Dragonborn.

^ Of course the Dovahkiin would win! Puts up shield to block bullets. Shouts "Fus Ro Dah!" Marine goes flying. Dovahkiin runs up to him and starts hitting him with a sword and shooting him with a flamethrower!

Or, dovahkiin could hit him with a frost/paralyze spell and walk away lol.

Now if we were talking Battlefield 3 we could counter the dragon with a squadron of jets.

If the Marine pulls out a RPG-16 I doubt a shield would absorb that impact, but at the last second I imagine ethereal form would come in handy. The ballistic passes through the Davahkiin, exploding behind him as he wind dashes towards the marine. Before the Soldier has a chance to attack he's already taken several blows from the now corporeal dragonborn.

At this point the Soldier is bleeding from several gashes and his left shoulder has been crushed beneath the weight of a mace, he somehow manages to dive behind cover and as the enraged Dovahkiin mantles the crumbling brick wall the soldier discharges a few rounds of his glock into the man. The bullets strike the dragonborn in the midsection, blood quickly soaks the inside of the armor, and in shock he tumbles back over the wall.

Our fierce Dovahkiin lies there for a moment, dazed by the sudden pain. His hand, grimy with the filth of war and his own blood, reaches into his travel pack and clasps around a vial of faint pink liquid.He Brings it to his lips and drains it. Giving a soft sigh he winces as the bullets seem to be squeezed from his innards, sliding with a sickening slurp out of the entrance wounds.

Meanwhile the soldier is still in cover, overwhelmed by what he is witnessing and unsure of his course of action. As he gains his nerve he looks over the broken down wall to where he thinks the assailing Dovahkiin is bleeding out. All he finds is a puddle of blood where he had been. A twig crunches behind him and he turns on a dime, firearm aimed directly into the chest of our beloved dragonborn. Before he has a chance to discharge more rounds into the Dovahkiin he's met with a gout of flame.

Searing hot magical flame engulfs the marine and all he can manage is a scream of intense pain as his flesh blackens. Slowly the Dovahkiin backs away, keeping flamethrower spell on the soldier. As he backs far enough away he uses the spell in his other hand. Lightning crackles from his fingertips, and as it strikes the Soldier he dissintigrates.

The Marine Corps uses M9s and M1911 sidearms. All Marines, regardless of MOS are taught MCMAP (Marine Corps Martial Arts Program) to help defend, counter and attack in close quarters. What happened to the M16 or M4? Damn, if I was a marine, I would suppress that warrior with semi-auto fire from behind cover, but wouldn't sit behind cover when the enemy is that close, Attack!
The magic would be the determining factor but I still bet the marine would win. Semper Fi! Oorah!

Oorah? Hoorah? A marine would never say that. Thats an army thing.

I know marines, I have several friends who are marines stationed all over the place. They use it amongst themselves mainly, but Marines do say Oorah. It's a statement of enthusiasm; can mean "understood" or in question form at the end of an order to mean "Understood?".

Army says Hooah (no "r")
Navy says Hooyah
Air Force says HUA (similar to Army because they used to be together until shortly after WW2)

I wasn't trying to be spot on with my interpretation, it was fun in my head and that's all that matters really.

It was fun! I read it twice just to start getting the imagination going. I was able to visualize it all and it was awesome that I could, meaning it was good writing. However, I do kinda feel bad a marine died

Actually... strangely yes! Mainly because I don't know any space marines.

I felt a little bad writing it too, so I understand. We'll just change glock to laser pistol and we're all set.
